Investing in my personal brand via my YouTube channel, @datatoken1 brought me an unexpected potential form of income.

It adds to the list of things I am grateful for today.

Basically here is the gist of it…

One of my family members told me that they have been watching my videos, and that the things I say about having multiple streams of income make sense, which led them to propose that we form a venture.

They would put up $10,000 dollars of capital and I would manage for something like 10% of the profits.

I am going to rebuttal that if I put in $4,000 (about 28% of of $14,000) I would like 40% of the profits.

I came up with this number because the standard private equity deal is 2% of the capital investment and 20% of profits.

I know that would equal to 50% but I don’t want to be greedy so I’m going to propose 40%.

My plan for that money is to follow the first 2 verses in Ecclesiastes chapter 11, which reads as follows:

‭‭Send your grain across the seas, and in time, profits will flow back to you. But divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead.
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭11‬:1-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

That’s the plan diversify and form a corporation.

My plan to keep expenses low is to work from home to make the most of business opportunities & to use the garage as a makeshift office for the deductions it would provide.

I would use the garage because I am inspired that Amazon started in a garage and so have other successful businesses.

The 8 businesses would be

1. Crypto backed ventures (like trading bots and holding Bitcoin)

2. Silver

3. Trading Stock Options

4. A High Yield Savings Account

5. Internet based business like print on demand coupled with a YouTube channel to market the business.

6. Cash reserves for angel investments and taxes.

7. Tax lien investing in Farmland.

And…

8. Rental Properties somehow.

Again, I didn’t expect this opportunity would spring up. I was just trying to make high ticket affiliate sales with my YouTube channel.

Serendipity I guess!
